Built on the 4-screw K-frame, build date 1959, serial number K364XXX. CONDITION; Excellent overall. No ugly cylinder drag to speak of with no wear at “indexing arrows”, splatter shield looks to have no adverse wear. No noticeable erosion on top strap or at forcing cone. Cylinder/forcing cone air gap measures .003. No excessive end play or lateral movement on cylinder or cylinder “wobble”. Ejection rod operates smooth straight and true. No wear on pawl or at pawl teeth. Cylinder latches and unlatches smooth and easy. Timing appears right on. Lock up sure and confident. Action smooth, tight, and positive. Single action trigger pull measured just 2.5 pounds, again and again, with no creep or take up. Typical vintage Smith. All stampings and roll marks are deep, clear, and even. No rust or pitting is evident though-out. There is some loss of thinning of finish here and there as expected. Please see pictures
